In a small stone farmhouse. Hasan’s relationships with his kids, Dudu and Yusuf, starts to fall apart as he marries Asiye after his wife’s passing. Dudu and Yusuf practice their father’s profession as shepherds and lose one of the sheep in the field. Things completely fall apart with this event and the two find themselves searching for the sheep in the middle of the night. Soon the darkness of regret surrounds Hasan’s heart as the mourning dove starts to sing.
